CPR Classes


AHA Heartsaver Classes are designed for Non-Healthcare Providers who are required or would benefit from being certified in CPR & AED, First Aid or Pediatric First Aid. AHA Heartsaver Classes are offered Monday – Saturday. (Please see schedule below)

AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED

Course Description:
The AHA Heartsaver CPR and AED teaches the basic techniques of adult/child/infant CPR and use of an AED. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking for adult, child and infant victims.
Course Length:
2-2.5 hours

Intended Audience:
Responders like security personnel, teachers, parents, lifeguards, airline personnel, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, and those who need or want to learn CPR and how to operate an AED.
Ideal for workplace training where having trained lay responders may prove invaluable for the safety of customers as well as employees.

AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid

Course Description:
In addition to the basic techniques of CPR and AED, the AHA Heartsaver First Aid teaches the participants to deal with injuries seen more frequently. This part teaches the lay person to recognize and react to situations such as choking, low blood sugar, bleeding, broken bones and sprains, seizures, strokes, insect bites and stings, and temperature related injuries.
Course Length:
3 hours

Intended Audience:
Responders like personal trainers, teachers, parents, lifeguards, airline personnel, corporate employees, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, other rescuers, and those who need or want to learn CPR, how to operate an AED and First Aid.
